I often go to Salvation Army in hopes to find that rare thing I've been looking for all my life... Usually it's a fail but I do find Apple Pie some clothes so all isn't lost.
I did recently become friends with a lady who owns a children's resale shop in my town. One day while dropping off her Girl Scout Cookies I saw this suit case on the floor by the front door ~ which says "going to Grandma's" how fitting! and too boot it was only $8! Not sure yet if I will give it to Apple Pie or use it as a display.
Next Great find came when I went with friends to Treasure Mart in Ann Arbor, MI . I've only been there twice and each time I have found something! Last time it was a mannequin leg. This time 2 Tupperware containers for a $1.50!! You can never have enough containers!
Seems if I go with no intentions of finding anything that's when I score!!
I just came up with the idea last night that I will post every friday all the things I made during the week! So check back friday for the first "Weekly Whip Up's"
