Plus it helps me stay in the "Whip it Up" mode all week long!

*Baby Pants made from old Shirts.

*Block Swap with Tawnya Romig Foster & Sarah Fishburn~ 2 years in the making!

*More Plastic Egg Transformation.

*Repurposed Magazine Notebooks~ they are filled with blank paper that was a weird size & didn't fit in the printer but I cut down to fit~donated by my neighbor.

*Blankie I crocheted for Apple Pie.

*Lucky Necklaces for my Cousin's ~ the Game cards came from one of them so only fitting~ other 2 are just because I thought they would look cool & they do.

*Magazine Boxes to hold the BFF necklaces and keychains.

*Used Gift Card Shamrock pins~ wish I would have thought this one up a month ago!

*I also made a video for the Plastic Egg Transformation today but I can't reveal that until the 22nd!

Seems I wasn't as Crafty this week!
I must say that I am working on an online class that has take up a bit of my time. About half way done with it them the uploading, password protecting & marketing!

So here's what I Whipped Up this week!

A Scrappy T-Shirt Rug! I have Lots & Lots of T-Shirt Scrap so this is a great way to put it to use!
Pink, Black & Gray

You know you haven't spun for a long time when one of your kids mentions it!
Felt good to Spin must do it more often!
Yarn in St. Patrick Day Colors!
Leprechaun Green
Rainbow
Pot of Gold

This is a Felted well Tall Bowl I guess!
It was suppose to be a Basket with Handles but they didn't turn out!
I kind of followed a pattern but did my own thing & Really did my own thing for the handles!
Lesson Learned sometimes it's not good to do my own thing in a field I am a beginner in!

Upcycled T-Shirt Bracelets!
For my Online Class.
Stay tuned for more updates.

That's all this week!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Be Safe!

Gosh when I get on something I just can't seem to get off of it for a few days~
I guess that's not a bad thing right?

Here's my Weekly Whip Up's

So you may or may not know but I'm a Girl Scout leader. Each year we have encampment which all the troops in our council get together & Camp. It's so Much fun we decorate our camp sites to the theme of year. This year's it's birthday because it's Girl Scouts 100th Birthday!  We have a covered Picnic area at our camp site so I wanted to make paper mache balloons to hang then put glow sticks in them at night! (5 done so far!)

More Yarn was spun this week! I wanted to do an Easter Theme but I didn't get to the other natural colors of the Bunnies.
You can check them out at Fiber JuJu

Cotton WashCloths! I saw this pattern at the Handmade gift Guide & had to give it a whirl!
So I made one for my daughter, my BFF & Apple Pie!
Nothing better than a handmade washcloth.

I leave for Seattle on Monday & will be gone until Sunday.
Going to Artfest in Port Townsend (it's the last one)
But best of all I'm meeting up with my BFF Tawyna Romig Foster who made this fantastic Website for me & takes care of all my Graphic Design needs!
Now I'm not a Journaler but for whatever reason I felt the need to make a journal to take with me!

So I started to journal in my newly made Journal!
I bought a book that really got my juices flowing called Creative Doodling & Beyond
Hopefully this trip will get my creatively flowing all over the place!

Well this post is a bit late but I am in Seattle at Artfest getting inspired this week
& the internet is shoty!

My Weekly Whip Up's this week

This is a Bohmenian Bag but on the smaller scale.
The bigger ones I use to making & toting around seem to be a black hole so I wanted to make a smaller one to alleviate this issue!

Then there was scrap!
How perfect for this cute little zipper pouch!

How about this Ex-Boyfriend Scarf?
I made it out of an old man's shirt.
Look for these in my etsy shop when I get back next week!

I took a Silk Screen class with Michelle Allen today!
So cool & a few ideas now swirling!

This is my Metrosexual Plaster Half Wit Bowl.
I made this in Stephanie Lee's class called Half Wit.
It's made from Plaster & was a fun class.

Tomorrow's class is a photography pinhole class so you will have to wait until
next Friday to see those pictures.
I will post more pictures & fun stuff about Seattle when I get home.

Gosh this week flew by & I feel like I didn't get much done!
Monday was getting the house back in order after being gone a week.
I did have to work on Tuesday which I call "Free Tuesdays'" because I don't get paid.
Wednesday I watched Apple Pie~ her first trip to Joann's was a success.
Thursday started Spring Break & Princess had to get her hair done then we had Girl Scouts
Friday well that one didn't start out good... Had to take my son to court to get arranged, then finger printed but after that we had a lovely day~ salvation army, target, lunch, secetary  of state, bank then home only to run princess all over!

Now the kids are gone for the night & Hubby is finally home from work!

So on with the good stuff!
Weekly Whip Up's

I Crocheted Apple Pie this Basket which I deemed her Easter Basket.
We get her for Easter this year!
Here is the link to the pattern that inspired me I didn't follow it at all but it got me going on the right track.

I made a few Ex-Boyfriend scarves.
Also picked up more shirts at Salvation Army today to make more.
See how I get on things for awhile!

I whipped up this Hat & the Huge Flower Rocks!
Everyone is getting one of these for Christmas!
Here is the link to get the pattern if you want to whip up some cute hats!

Pop Tab Bracelet with Repurposed Shirts woven in!
I wear mine everyday & get so many compliments & people don't even realize they are pop tabs!
I can make custom ones too if you have a loved one's shirt or even a favorite shirt of yours that you just can't wear anymore!

The weeks are flying by!
I guess it is partly because Tuesday's I work for free at my old job
& Wednesday's I have my Grandbaby all Day.

Here's my Apple Pie

Fused Plastic Clutches for a wholesale order.
I haven't fused plastic in awhile forgot how much fun it is!

Girl Scout Encampment is coming up & last year the theme was games so we decided to be the Red vs. Blue Gnomes (the movie had just came out) So i made everyone a Red or Blue Gnome hat.
They were a big hit not only did they keep us warm at night but we got so many compliments!
This year's theme is Birthday Party since it's Girl Scouts 100th anniversary.

I decided I would make Cake Hats then we could decorate them.

When I finally found a pattern I could make work and got the felt I was overwhelmed with have to make 24 hats~ what was I thinking? I did recruit some help but it actually when very

fast so i didn't need any back up.

Here they are before decorating ~I'll be sure to show you what the girls do with them!

This one is a repost from this week.

I have had this old Net Bath Sponges stuff laying around for awhile then 2 more broke so I thought it was time to get on my idea! I turned them into Scrubbies! Check a few posts down for the full tutorial!

So this week my daughter when on her 8th Grade trip to D.C. ~ She's having a blasty Blast!
I hope someday to make that trip as well.

Here's what I've Whipped up this Week!

I saw this cute cute kids lamb hat in the last Molly Made issue however it was the hat that was for sale & not the pattern~ which is all good but I wanted the hat for myself! The hat seemed familiar & I thought I had seen a pattern for a similar hat & I found it but it too was for kids here's the link to the pattern.
So I had to make adjustments! It wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be
but it all worked out in the end!

When I was in Port Townsend I found a moment to go to the beach (it's right there at Fort Worden) Now being from Michigan I often think the Great Lakes are Oceans as I can't see to the other side but when I was actually by the ocean I now see the difference lol! Boy all the treasures that are washed up are amazing! I picked up some super cute small flat rocks (have always had a love for rocks) I decided to paint little hearts on them & will give them to friends & family at Christmas. They probably won't find it such a wonderful gift but to bad!!

I also have been making some Trashy Meets Classy Rings for a Wholesale order.
Bottle Cap Heart & Sterling Sliver Band.

I'm getting ready to head to the Library to teach a class on how to make T-Shirt Bracelets.
I am also in the progress of turning this into an online class with some different techniques so stay tuned!

Happy Earth Day!

Finally my Monday's are no longer Clogged up with going to Court with my Son.....Long Story
but all is good now.

Seems I was on a Purse-Tote Kick this week.

First up is my New Addition to thePurse-Tote Line.
Ex-BoyFriend Purse to go with the Ex-Boyfriend Scarf!
Made from a Men's button up shirt.
I'm Totally in Love with this new Purse!

Well I challenged myself to RePurpose a Mouse Pad this week.

You can see the Bracelets & a brief how to on my post yesterday.

I got a reposnse from that post from Shirley Maki giving me the idea to make a cell phone holder.

Here's what I came up with . Pretty simple but does the job to keep my phone

safe in the bottomless pit I call a purse!

I have been saving Can's (just the middle part) for some time now.

I make Butterfly magnets with them but I had wanted to make some flowers.

I finally sat down to actually do it when I realized I must have thrown out the handle to my Sizzix!!!

So I went to the hardware store & the gentleman there helped me find just want

I needed to make a handle!

Not sure what more I will do with them other than make magnets.

Any suggestions???

More Totes!
These one's aren't lined & Smaller.
Great for Lunches, crayons & coloring books, Shower caddy &
recently brought to my attention Bingo supplies!

These Totes (This is the size of my purse!) are lined with Eco-Felt (felt made from water bottles).
I am loving the Protein one!!

Weekly Whip Up's

Well Sorry for being a Flake & not posting any "Weekly Whip Up's" for the past 2 fridays!
Every now & again I just want to run away... I didn't but I kind of did from Social Networking!
I'm Back in the saddle!

My nephew had a Baby Girl on the 9th of May so
I whipped her up this Granny Square Blanket.
It's thick I used double strands but it will be good to
put her on to change her diaper or to just play.

As I mentioned in a Post last week I had girl Scout Camp.
Each year we make necklaces & I make some when we are short or
a girl hasn't been there to make one.
Well my vision was to be a cake pendent so I made what I thought looked like a cake.
It might have been all good but when I put the jump ring on it the "candle" pointed forward looking like something Dirty!
I wore my proudly the whole weekend!

I also had a Big wholesale order that I had to get out.

I officially will have goods in CaddyWampas on Mackinaw Island!!

Here's some Wallets I made for them out of a Michigan Map, Denver Map & Portland Map

as well as a party bag!

I also made some Repurposed Plastic Lunch Totes!

And some small Messenger Bags.

Let the Show's Begin!
I have a show every weekend for the next 3 weekends!

Most of my week is getting stuff made for the shows but I tend to ver off every now & again.

It's Raining Totes!
I made a ton of Fused Plastic Totes all lined with Eco Felt.

I have had a pile of cleaned out sauce packets piling up
& I finally had the desire to make them into buttons!
My favorite one's are "take me to your taco" & "let's get matching Tattoo's"

I scored this old vinyl at this weird shop up North (the upper part of Michigan).
They get close out stuff from places. I get a lot of my seat belt material there & I just picked up some of this vinyl that might have been for car seats back in the 60's!
I love it so much I made me a smaller tote for my purse.

I do have a new Project on the horizon but here's a what it will involve.
Stay tuned I will be posting a tutorial soon!

Love your stuff! My sister lived in South Lyon for quite a few years, she's now in Ypsi. LOL @ how you had to qualify what 'up North' means to the non-Michiganders. Don't know where you are from originally, but I grew up in Midland, and the Mill End store
in Bay City was one of my favorite places to spend a Saturday afternoon. I wish we had the equivalent in TX today!

I have been in the friendly Mitten state all my life! I live just north of Ann Arbor in Pinckney not to far from south lyon or ypsi! I have a friend that now lives in Texas as well since it was too cold for her here in Michigan lol! What is the Mill End
store ? is it still there do you know? Is it like the M-33 store? xoxo Tracie

Weekly Whip Up's

At the beginning of the year Stitched 2012 was released.
I am teach an online workshop called "Bohemian Bags"
Which I show you how to transform Acrylic sweaters into a purse.
This Stitched is complied of 20 workshops that you can take at your leisure from your home in your pi's!
The cost was $89 for 20 workshops which is a steal in itself.
Now that it's half way through the year the price has been lowered to only $40!!!
if you were on the fence before now is your time to jump on this you will have until 12/31/12 to watch and download all the pdf's from Stitched!

Here is the Bohemian Bag Workshop Photo's!

Now I also took the concept that I teach in the Bohemian Bag workshop & applied it to T-Shirts!

I also had a request for some Natural yarn to make Doll hair!

I also finally after wanted to do this for years now sat down released a hat pattern that
my friend Tawnya Romig-Foster wrote for me for my handspun yarns in which
I added to it a brim option, Ear Flaps Option & Mohawk!

Now you can make your own!
Pattern can be found at FiberJuJu.etsy.com

Have a Great Long weekend!
I will be at a show on Sat & Sun in Tawas Michigan!

As usual the week gets away from me.
This week coming starts a fresh start for me as I have 5 months to make it or
Break it with this business of mine or it back to working for the man lol!
So if you can help a sister out by thinking good thoughts for me and sending some
Radical Recycks Mojo out into the universe it would be greatly appreciated!

I had another idea swirling in my head just haven't sat down to do it.

I think I will start it tomorrow while at my craft show but let's just hope it's so busy I can't sit down right!

I have a friend (a guy) that asked me to make a "Manly" PBR ring for him.

I love when people ask me to make things its get the wheels spinning.

The first idea I had was to make a sterling sliver base then put the PBR bottle cap over that.

Then I thought what if I just use the caps themselves?

The only issue with these is there's only one side unless I attach more caps.

I think I need a small rivet machine!

I also made a few Coffee Bag Zipper Pouches Lined with Eco Felt.

They even smell like Coffee still!

This was the Week I was to Kick it into High Gear & now that the week is over
I feel like I got nothing done!
There's always next week right? well for awhile anyway :)

I had made some fans out of Record Album covers years ago & sold them but then decided I didn't want to sell them anymore so I had a bunch of them sitting around my house. WIth my purge I decided to just give them away at one of my shows & it went well ~ it was actually fun to interact with folks with them.
So my friend Wendy over at Recycled LPS & I decided to make them & give them away at all our shows.
She is making the album cover ones since that goes with her products & I am making them out of Beer cases since that is the only cardboard big enough.
This sat will be the first show we are giving them away!
Berkley Art Bash
12 mile Rd.
Berkley Mi
10-6
June 9th
Booth107 come by and get your fan! It's going to be a Hot one on Sat!

I whipped up another Scrap T-Shirt Rug.
I love these colors so much!
It will be at the show this weekend or you can get it in my Etsy Shop.

I saw these on Craftzine last week & wanted to make some.
I made all 3 & have eaten 2 so far they are Delicious!
You can check out the recipes for yourself at Daily Muse.

You know when you get orange juice or soy milk and you have to pull off that plastic ring tab thingy?
Well you can make these Ring Pin cushions with them.
You could even sew a cute ring if your crafty enough. I don't think I could do that but now that I've said it out loud my thinking cap is in full gear!

I couldn't resist showing off My Apple Pie!
I had her twice this weekend & she will be her Sat night as well as all day Sunday!
She's my Granddaughter incase you didn't know :)

Have a Great Weekend!

It's been a nerve racking week wondering if I'm on the right path!
Gosh why can't someone just tell me what to do lol!

In the spirit of taking the biz towards all T-Shirt made goods I whipped up some of these headbands.
Wanted to make more but that darn "Fifty Shades of Grey" got under my skin and I can't stop reading!

Then I whipped up some more T-Shirt Hats.
I will post some as well as a ton of other stuff in my shop this week.
No shows until July after this weekend.

It's been a Hot one this week I even broke down & turned the air on for 2 days (for the dog's sake!)
There is a 3 weekend lull in shows so I can regrouping & working on some new displays!!

I whipped up some Repurposed T-shirt Flower Barrettes.
Posted them in my Etsy shop.

I saw My Craft Addiction on Tumbler whip up some of these StarBurst Flower Squares they are so cute I couldn't get them out of my mind so I downloaded Molly Makes
issue 2 on my iPad and whipped up some myself.
I wanted to make a blanket for my bed out of Pinks, Creams & Browns but then decided that it was a bigger job than I was willing to bite off right now so I am going to make pillows for my bed! Good thing the pillow forms were on sale at Joann's this week! I'll keep you post on how it goes.

A couple of weeks ago (which I didn't take a picture of!) I made a baby blanket for a baby shower & I have most of the 3rd skein left so I decided to get out my new favorite crochet hat pattern & make a Toddler hat with what was left of the Skein. There wasn't enough for a giant flower but that's ok.

Going up North with my Hubby & Daughter in a few hours to breath in the fresh air of the woods!

Have a Great Weekend!

This week Hubby was away on Business which you would think would leave a lot of time for
Crafting but my schedule filled up fast!
Seems when it is hotter than all get up I want to wrap myself in fiber!
I am obsessed with crocheting right now~ its that suppose to be a fall activity?

I did however make a pillow from the StarBurst Flower Square from last week!

I did make this hat.
It's a Granny Square stitch hat that I made up~ well saw it somewhere online so had to figure it out.
I then woven in a  crocheted band.

Finally I took Apple Pie to the Zoo for the first time!
I went with my cousin & her kids as well as my daughter & her friend.

Have a Great Weekend!

My friend sent me a picture of these barefoot sandals to inspire me & it did (She knows me so well!)
I looked at tons of them online but non tickled my fancy beside the picture of the ones she sent.
Now those ones I whipped up look nothing like the picture as it was all crochet no bead & covered much more of the top of the foot. I plan to play around with making more!

I have been itching to make this Monster Tab Bangle now that I am totally obsessed
with Monster Rehab!
I feel like almost embarrassed buying it because it's targeted towards young people but I love it so!

Still have a tickle for Yarn right now so I got this pattern to make some crochet balls.
I have some baby showers coming up so I thought it would make a cute present!

Have a Great Weekend!
